Work History
Peter Anderson gained significant insurance experience and the inner working of a claims department as a Claims Manager II, with Wausau/ Liberty Mutual Insurance located in Belmont, Massachusetts. As a claims adjuster and a claims manager, he utilized claims assessment software in evaluating and assessing personal injury claims. He negotiated settlements with plaintiffs’ attorneys relating to claims for claimants in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. Peter directed defense counsel on litigation matters, and controlled comprehensive discovery investigations. This experience allowed Peter to gain a working knowledge on how insurance companies adjust claims, and the right and wrong way to evaluate a claim.

Peter’s background consists of a strong working knowledge of municipality law as he interned with the City of Boston Law Department. He composed and answered Freedom of Information Act requests as well as written discovery.

Working for the eighth largest law firm in Boston provided invaluable perspectives on how insurance defense lawyers defend cases. While a law clerk with Morrison, Mahoney & Miller, Peter worked closely with insurance defense counsel and insurance claims personnel in defending products liability cases. During his tenure at this prestigious insurance defense firm, Peter composed memos of law assessing the discovery of facts, evaluated strategies of plaintiff’s counsel, developed litigation/discovery tactics, and analyzed trial exhibits. This experience shed light on the inner workings of how the top Boston insurance defense lawyers defend personal injury cases.

Located in Boulder, we work with serious personal injury cases throughout Colorado. We specialize in car accidents and insurance breach of contract cases, focusing solely on these two practice areas. As a true trial firm, we have the expertise and experience in trying these cases, should the insurance corporations (which are in every jury trial) make a low ball offer, forcing us to court. Our record of success in settlement negotiations and in the courtroom is proof of our competency.  Read up on what makes our firm different.
